12 Days of Merriment in Georgetown takes place throughout Georgetown. Be sure to check out all the available transportation options, including Metro, DC Circulator, and Capital Bikeshare.

Take Metro Via the DC Circulator

The DC Circulator services the Rosslyn Metrorail Station (Orange and Blue lines) and Dupont Circle Metrorail Station (Red line). Buses leave every day, every 10 minutes.

From Rosslyn: Exit the Metro Station on the east side. Walk left to the end of the block (Intersection of North Moore and 19th Street).

Dupont Circle: Exit the Metro Station using the South exit. Cross the road and walk one block South on 19th Street (Intersection of 19th Street and Sunderland Place).

Driving Here

Heading East from Virginia: Take Route 66 East to Exit 73, Key Bridge. Continue over the Key Bridge and turn right onto M Street. You will enter Georgetown from the West side.

Heading West from Maryland: Take Route 50 West until it turns into New York Ave. Keep on New York Ave until it turns into Mt. Vernon Place at 7th Street, NW. Bear right onto Massachusetts Ave. Bear right at Scott Circle. Turn right at Rhode Island Ave. Bear right at M Street. You will enter Georgetown from the East side.

Heading South from Maryland: Take 95 south to the Capital Beltway. Bear right onto 495. Exit onto Route 66 East to exit 73, Key Bridge. Continue over the Key Bridge and turn right onto M street. You will enter Georgetown from the West side.

Heading North from Virginia: Take 95 North to Route 395 North. Take exit 8B. Bear right at Washington Blvd. Take the George Washington Parkway North to the Key Bridge. Continue over the Key Bridge and turn right onto M street.

Biking Here

Capital Bikeshare is in Georgetown! The program allows users to check out and return bikes from any of the 110 stations located throughout Washington, DC and Arlington, VA. The 19-bike Georgetown units are located at the corner of K Street and 30th Street, near the Georgetown waterfront and on the 1000 block of Wisconsin Avenue, at Grace Street.
